RSO  Range Safety Officer

This course is nine hours long and is conducted in a classroom and / or at a shooting facility. Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); Range inspection; Range rules; Range briefings; Emergency procedures; And firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Each Range Safety Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, an Instructor Application/Course Evaluation form. (Lesson Plan 10-05, revised 01-10).

 Price is $95.00 includes lunch and all materials for the RSO Class.  Fees for the class are paid to BTC or on the BTC Store Web page. 

There are certification and processing fees paid to the NRA.  NRA Members $31.00 and non members $36.00  You will need to bring a Check or money order made out to the NRA to the class.  This will satisfy the certification for 1 year.

Note: there will be a annual certification fee of $6.00 for NRA Members and $11.00 for non NRA members.  That is  subject to change by the NRA ......
